About Us

My name is Joel, and I’ve been building with wood since my earliest memories. From treehouses and chainsaw carvings to home remodels, I’ve always loved the look, warmth, and versatility of wood. Over time, I realized that the high cost of materials is the biggest limitation for myself and others. A few years ago, I set out to overcome this by leveraging economies of scale and smart logistics to offer select items at discounted rates.

This vision gave birth to Rustic Ridge Lumber Company. We specialize in sourcing quality materials direct from commercial mills, making them affordable and accessible right here in Southwest Missouri. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of providing these products to our community. Connecting with others, learning about your techniques, and seeing your projects come to life has been incredibly rewarding.
